Birmingham
If you last went to Birmingham more than ten years ago, you would hardly recognise the place now. Major development means it is now one of Europe’s youngest, most exciting and diverse cities. As well as high-profile recent arrivals like Harvey Nichols and Selfridges, it now has more students than any other British city outside London.
Accommodation ranges from stylish city-centre apartments to family homes in leafy suburbs, and caters for every taste and budget. There is a huge variety of shopping, culture and entertainment and its location and excellent transport links make Birmingham a great base from which to reach the rest of the UK.
The Hewitt office in the city centre is 5 minutes walk from the main line station that is at the heart of cross England rail lines as well as many local commuter routes. The office atmosphere is fun, lively and friendly; some recent visitors from our Budapest office were even advised to bring their football kit and were taken to the weekly kick around.
